Open the Door…

photo-792  “Fear knocked at the door. Faith answered. And lo, no one was there.” ~Author Unknown

This quote is very special to me because there was a time in my life when I was fearful quite often. When I opened the door to face my fears, it was only then that I realized they were not real. Faith will carry you through, always.

With much love,

Alice

It’s Time…

photo-790  Happy Monday to YOU! 🙂 As a new week begins, I wanted to share a post that Emmanuel Dagher placed on Facebook over the weekend. I resonate with his posts and the insight he shares…

“My amazing friend,

It’s safe for you to fly. The days of holding back, hiding, or waiting for permission from others to thrive is over. This is your time in the sun. Allow the light within you to radiate so bright in all directions that others can’t help but be inspired to radiate their light as well.

It’s time,

Emmanuel”

When you give yourself permission to let your light shine, not only are you living your truth, you unconsciously are giving others permission to live theirs. Living authentically is beautiful. You do light up and wow, this is an amazing gift you give to yourself and others.

If you would like to follow Emmanuel Dagher on Facebook, just click on his name and the link will take you to his Facebook page.

With much love,

Alice

Live in the Present…

photo-765  This is the second quote from Federico Fellini that spoke to me while watching the movie, Under the Tuscan Sun.

Regrets ARE a waste of time and they absolutely cripple YOU in the present. Please release any regret that may be in your heart. Be grateful for your life and cherish every minute of it.

Be present now. Practice mindful thinking and walking. I love spending time with nature and embracing the beauty that surrounds me. I practice mindful walking when I’m in a park or walking a trail and it’s just me all alone embracing the gift in nature. I hear the sound the leaves make when I step on them and I feel so alive! I am continuously lifting up prayers of thanksgiving for each beautiful thought that I have. I always cry tears of great joy and gratitude to be so very present in that moment and I love how this experience feels and I am very connected to source energy.

I encourage you to release all feelings of regret and embrace the gift of life that you have been given. I also encourage you to take a walk in nature and experience the euphoric feeling of mindful walking.

Enjoy your weekend…

With much love,

Alice

Preserve Your Childish Innocence…

photo-766 “No matter what happens, keep your childish innocence. It’s the most important thing.” ~Federico Fellini

This past weekend I watched the movie, Under the Tuscan Sun. Two quotes from this movie really spoke to me. Both quotes were by Federico Fellini. The second quote will be in a post later this week.

As you grow older, it’s easy to loose your childish innocence. It will serve you very well if you can get back to the space of living with a childish innocence. In some of my previous posts I’ve talked about child-like faith.

As a child you really believe that you can have it all. You can be whatever you want to be when you grow up, nothing is in the way of your dream. I am convinced that life can be simple, and that you and I are the one’s who get in the way of the simplicity life offers. All you and I have to do is maintain our childish innocence, our childlike-faith.

One way to make this shift is by training yourself to go with the flow. Think of your life as a river flowing. If you will move in the direction of the flow, life will be a lot simpler for you than trying to struggle against the current of the flow.

Wayne Dyer speaks about singing the song, Row-Row-Row Your Boat with one of his daughters when she was very young. That nursery rhyme has a great truth in it.

Row Row Row your boat… Gently down the stream.

Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily life is but a dream.

Living from the space of child-like faith FEELS good because you are in alignment with source energy. I honestly believe that you and I are here not to suffer, but to flourish in life, to find our way back to living with the innocence of a child, the true gift that is within all of us!

Child-like faith… Live your dream, stop getting in the way of it. Remember, how you feel effects everything in your life.

I encourage you to take time every day to meditate and to get centered from within. When you do this, you will find yourself moving in the direction of the flow. You will be happier, feel better, and find yourself smiling and enjoying the little things in life that you often overlook. Take time to stop and smell the flowers along the path of life.

May you preserve your childish innocence, learn to let go and never loose your child-like faith.

With much love,

Alice

Be Present Now…

photo-709

As we approach the weekend, I would like to encourage you to genuinely live in the moment, be present now. It’s a component of living mindfully, when you are fully present in all that you do, embracing the joy in each wonder and miracle that you behold.

With much love,

Alice
