I am so happy that you’re here. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself by sharing a little bit about why I titled my site, “I am Alice” and why, “It Feels Good To Be ME.”
As a young child I remember believing that anything was possible. I could do it all and I could have it all. Nothing could stop me! I was tenacious and convinced that these concepts would carry me throughout my entire life. I call this way of thinking, child-like faith because you do not doubt, you just believe.
As I grew into my teens I had a longing to be accepted and to “fit in.” Without realizing it I found my head strong, concrete beliefs crumbling underneath me. Of course at the time this was happening, I was not aware of what could occur when you are no longer walking on a firm foundation. If only I had claimed this truthful quote by Dr. Seuss: “Why do you try so hard to fit in when you were made to stand out?”
I began to seek the approval of others and stopped listening to my inner voice. I thought if I pleased others, they would like me, and then I would “fit in.” This may sound familiar to you. I lived the vast majority of my life with this mindset. Truly, I was not a happy person. From the outside looking in, I appeared to be happy, but when I was alone I felt awful because I was not being true to myself. I was not living MY life; I merely existed in a life I had chosen. It was time to make another choice.
What I’ve realized is that no one else or anything else can make YOU happy. It’s an inside job. Through this journey I also discovered that you and I have been given an endowment at birth and this endowment is our birthright. We were created in God’s image. Because of this legacy, you and I have EVERYTHING needed to create the life that we desire. When we expand and develop EVERY component that is within us, we are living the life that was uniquely designed for us.
At the very moment that I “let go” of trying to be in charge of everything and everyone around me, I felt free for the first time in a very long time! I began to cultivate my gifts from within. In doing so I connected with my inner being, my soul, and this is a direct link to my source for everything, God.
I had no idea how this precious legacy would change my life and change my life instantaneously! This was a spiritual awakening in my life and it has completely transcended me from living an ordinary life to living an extraordinary life. The intimacy in my spiritual awakening was the birthing of my true, authentic self, my divine being. I am Alice and it feels good to be me!
Today and every day I live in a state of calmness and peace. It does come from within. This quote by Mahatma Gandhi says it all, “Each one of us has to find peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.”
I am the one who chooses how each thought that enters my mind, every action that I take effects myself and others. I make the choice. My desire is to choose the one that keeps me in alignment with God.
As a result of living my life in harmony with my source, amazing changes have taken place in a very short amount of time. I have learned how to set my intention on what my goals and desires are and it has brought great abundance into my life.
Today I write books sharing the techniques that have surely worked for me, because when you receive a precious gift like this, you must pass it on.
I am also training women in the town I live in who are age 50 and up. I’ve been a personal trainer for 13 years and I’m enjoying helping other women to improve their quality of life through stabilization, strength and power.
I’m also improving the quality of my life by setting the bar as high as possible for my physical fitness. I believe in being as healthy as I can be.
Physical, spiritual, and emotional are all components of well-being. I aim to have good health, happiness, love, prosperity in every area of my life. I desire that for you too!

Alice, no wonder we are friends. Your story, especially childhood, is also mine. The culture shock of moving from L.A. and my “hacking my education” “I can DO THAT!!” mentality, into the “traditional education system” of brain drain of socially fitting in as a Oklahoma teen in the early 70’s created more roadblocks than I had ever been aware of. Add to that my parents temporary financial set-backs during my youth that instilled financial fears and bad habits into me that I’ve only now accepted. I LOVE you and I love your blog. Thanks for helping me “keep it real” on a regular basis! mu-wah!! YOU ROCK!! ❤

If only we could realise at birth that peace and happiness are inside us and within our grasp, whether or not we believe in a god. I, too, have come to this realisation in recent years.
