Springtime

I really enjoy springtime.  As the trees begin to bud and the beautiful flowers begin to bloom, it’s a gentle reminder that every new season brings about change and renewal.  And not to rush through life, but to savor the moments we have been given.  To live in the present and be here now.

We should welcome change into our lives, allowing as nature does.  Giving ourselves permission to blossom, enjoying life to the fullest.  These quotes come to mind when I think about nature and allowing.

“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”  ~Lao Tzu

“People deal too much with the negative, with what is wrong.  Why not try and see positive things, to just touch those things and make them bloom.”  ~Nhat Hanh

“Flowers don’t worry about how they’re going to bloom.  They just open up and turn toward the light and that makes them beautiful.”  ~Jim Carrey

With spring in full bloom everywhere you look, take time to stop and smell the flowers as you walk along life’s pathway, embracing changes as they happen with gentleness the way nature does.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
