Shift happens doesn’t it? Shift is another word I often use to describe “change.” Upon graduating from high school in 1979, a friend of mine shared this statement with me. “The only consistent thing in life is change.” At 18 years of age I had NO idea how true this would be.
Life is all about shifting, changing and evolving in every aspect of life. As we change/ shift our thoughts and our mental vision, we alter our reality. Thought is energy and thoughts change the balance of energy around us and that promotes shifts in our life.
When I made a shift in my personal life to stop trying to be in control of every situation in my world, including my loved ones, I made my connection to inner peace. This change not only shifted my world, it rocked my world!
As a result of this shift that was a spiritual awakening for me, my only desire is to live in harmony with my source, which allows shifts when they occur to be smooth on my journey through life.
Words and thoughts are extremely powerful because this is what the universe hears. What you speak and what you think is what you receive. Make sure that what you are speaking and thinking is what you want. If not, you must short circuit the thought shifting your mindset to get back into a positive vibrational state of being.
One cannot focus on unwanted and receive wanted. You must shift your thoughts to what you DO want. The universe is always changing and it is not stagnant which is great news for us. A shift, a change of feeling, will bring with certainty a change in your future. This is the first step in changing your destiny.
When shift happens in your life, may you embrace it with a gentle ebb and flow as your journey will be an ongoing of shifts as you continue to progress on the road of life. I’ll leave you with a cute quote. “Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs…but it’s your choice to either scream or enjoy the ride.”
With much love,
Alice
