A Note from the Universe
Several years ago a friend of mine shared this website with me: http://www.tut.com. I signed up to receive daily notes from the Universe that are sent directly to my email during the week. A New Chapter

These are profound quotes with a great life lesson in each one of them. As with any book/ novel that you read, you may choose to go back and refer to something that was in the previous chapters, just keep in the forefront of your thoughts that this is only a point of reference, nothing else.
Do you realize that every day you get to make the choice that today can be a new chapter in your life? I think that’s awesome! Each moment of each day you make the decision to turn the page, to close the book, or reread the same chapter of your life. It truly is all about the choices you make.
I encourage you to set your intention to focus on how you want the chapters in your life to read. You may want to consider each new day to be a new chapter in your life. It’s not just another day… it’s your opportunity to create an exciting new chapter in the life of… YOU!

Oscar Wilde
This picture was taken when my husband and I visited the Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. This is Oscar Wilde’s tomb. I became emotional as I stood there reflecting upon how many of his words have left an impression on my soul.
I am a huge fan of Oscar Wilde quotes. Many of his quotes speak directly to my soul and I am a huge fan of that as well! I would like to share a few of my favorite quotes with you today as I believe they may resonate with you too.
This is my number one favorite quote of Oscar Wilde. “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.”
It’s my favorite because for many years I felt as though I was merely existing, living an extremely mundane life and wanted to move from this space but honestly didn’t know how. I deeply yearned to experience what it would feel like and be like to really and truly live. Today, that’s exactly what I am doing, every day of my life.. Living it!
Here’s another quote: “Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead.”
It’s imperative that we love with a no matter what attitude. We cannot ever choose to be filled with anything less than love. I truly love flowers and I enjoy the process of planting them, watering them and watching them grow. It brings me great pleasure to see them grow and blossom as it is a gentle and beautiful testament in how everything can flourish when cared for, just like our hearts. The sun plays a major role in the growth of flowers. I can water every day which will keep them alive, but without the sun they cannot grow to their full potential.
I’d like to share one final favorite quote of mine from Oscar Wilde. “Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.”
We have ALL made mistakes and because we are not perfect, we will continue to do so. What’s important is to learn from what has happened in our life and move forward. I call this process a life lesson. That’s it!

Be the Change
I truly love this quote by Mahatma Gandhi. There is great truth in this simple and powerful statement. I believe that if we are to make a difference in our world, it must start with you and with me.
What changes can we make? I would like to offer this thought: Anything that disconnects you from your highest authentic self should be altered at once.
For example, one change that could be implemented right away is to cease talking about other people. The moment you become aware of this action and stop yourself from doing this, you have united with your highest self, which is honoring not only who you are but the other person as well.
Each one of us must look within ourselves to see what changes we can make that will raise our level of consciousness so we may live authentically. Meditate on the improvements you desire to make in your life. Set your intention on making those changes and as a result you will transform in a way that bestows a beautiful gift of living connected to your soul as your heart overflows with gratitude and love.
It’s at this place where we can see the soul of one another. This oneness WILL change our world. In doing so, we stay adjoined to our source.
