This picture is in my office and I sincerely love it. Being an explorer of truth and beauty is a wonderful gift you can give to yourself. It allows your authentic self to expand as you give your spirit freedom to move forward in living everyday on the super-conscious level, seeing one another as God sees us, a divine soul.

One day when Gary and I went exploring, we came across the Chateau de Carrouges in Normandy, France. It dates as far back as the 14th century. It’s owned by the French government and is a National Monument.
We took a few minutes to walk on the Chateau grounds. We are planning to take a picnic lunch and enjoy the day touring the inside of the chateau and exploring more of the grounds. It’s a beautiful site to behold.
I felt compelled to kiss the deer. 🙂

When I saw this tree I was immediately drawn towards it. It’s very unique. I couldn’t seem to take my eyes off it for a long time. I stared at the trunk and the many branches that hung so low and thought about life and how every choice we make moves us in the direction of that decision.
It’s an awesome metaphor of what our life looks like. We are the base, the trunk of the tree, and with each choice, every decision we make we find ourselves branching out in the direction we have chosen.
This analogy is a magnificent reminder of the importance of continually being tuned into and mindful of the choices we make, whether it’s in thought or action as this is essential to maintaining a state of calmness, happiness, and peace.

Yesterday Gary and I went out for the day and drove around a little town called Mayene. It was a great day! My sweet husband put the pictures of our day together with a concert in the park that was given last weekend and made a video to share. I believe you will enjoy it.

I am currently working on a quote book that will include 365 uplifting, motivational and inspirational quotes. Personally I love quotes and I believe one of the reasons I am drawn to them along with millions of other people is because quotes offer us hope, encouragement, joy and an overall sense of feeling connected with our true self. It’s pleasing to our soul.
I’ve taken almost every picture in this book. My daughter and my husband have contributed as well and I am very thankful for their generosity. I must admit that 365 pictures is quite a large task to take on in itself.
This book is a compilation of quotes that have spoken to my soul throughout different stages I’ve gone through in life. Many of these quotes I truly believe with all of my heart pulled me through some of the most difficult times I had ever experienced. Quotes were the anchor I held onto. The beauty in this is that we are all connected so because they have helped me, I know they will help many others as well.
I’m over halfway through creating this book and I diligently work on it every day. I look forward to sharing with you, “For the Love of Quotes.”

“Believe in the Possibility”
Every day when I come into my office to write, I take a moment to look around and absorb the inspiration that I have placed on my office walls. I have pictures with uplifting soul grabbing thoughts on them because they inspire me. I have a really happy office that is bright and cheery. These two pictures are on the wall above my desk.
Inspiration comes in many forms. I am inspired by the charm of nature, smiles and laughter as people’s faces radiate with a beauty that is all their own and I am inspired by the heart of people. Inspiration is all around us, all of the time. I practice mindful walking and in doing so I am focused on being in the present moment and when you are in the here and now, your surroundings fill your senses and the little things that often go unnoticed can reveal their wonder. Its great fun to walk mindfully as inspiration flourishes all around you.
So, what inspires you? What turns on your creativity? What do you enjoy doing so much that hours can go by and it feels just like minutes? That’s exactly what happens to me when I enter my office. I spend many hours in my office writing and when I look at the clock, I am amazed that so much time has passed when it feels as though I just sat down.
