Are You Looking Back?

pic 353

If you answered yes to this question, today is THE day to stop looking back.  “If you are depressed, you are living in the past.  If you are anxious, you are living in the future.  If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”  By Lao Tzu

What I’ve come to appreciate on my spiritual journey, is that the past does not define you.  The past is an integral component of the groundwork that is necessary to prepare you for the advancement of living from your highest self.

There was a time in my life, before my spiritual transformation, where I allowed the past to be very active in my thoughts.  This was extremely destructive in the progression of moving forward in life.  You want to move forward, but the past can, if you let it, have a strong hold over you.  I discovered I was living in fear, which does not promote living from your highest self.

Today, I genuinely am thankful, grateful for my past, because it has brought me to where I am today.  I love this quote by Oscar Wilde: “The one charm of the past is that it is the past.”

Today is your day to begin living in the present.  I encourage you to give yourself this beautiful “present,” the gift to let go of the past, and be in the present, in the here and now.

With much love,

Alice

Imagination is Everything

Hello Friends,

I am moving forward on my journey, and in doing so, I am stepping out of my comfort zone just a bit.  However, I am excited to begin sharing short videos with you.  This is my first one, so please hang in there with me, as I know I will improve with practice.

Thank you for being a part of my journey…

With much love,

You Were Never Broken

pic 58

I came across this quote a few years ago, it was at the right time on my journey, and it had a major impact on my life.  I realized that I was allowing beliefs that were in my subconscious mind to guide me in how I felt about myself.  I discovered that a large amount of those beliefs were simply not true of who I am.

With my new-found awareness, I was able to release those beliefs that did not serve me at all.  I started to find my way back to what was already whole by filling my belief system with truths of who I am, and in doing so, I began to love myself, acknowledging that I am enough, just the way I am put together right now!

There was a spiritual experience that occurred as well with this revelation.  What I connected to was the truth that I was created in God’s image and that He makes no mistakes, therefore I had never been a mistake!  The awareness of who I am, and the realization that I was born with a purpose, made me valuable in every way.  Can you imagine how much freedom I felt when I reconnected with the truth of where I came from?  This is a truth for all of us…. We have never been broken!

Today, I truly live in a state of gratitude for the continued spiritual transformations that take place in my life.  With each experience, I grow closer and closer to my source for everything, and I live with an inner peace that I always longed to plug into.  It’s like breathing, it just is.  (As I write this post, there is a big smile on my face and tears streaming down my face because I feel so very grateful to be me.)

If you have an experience that you would like to share with me on how you found your way back to what was already whole, please write me.  I would love to hear from you.

Remember…always… YOU ARE ENOUGH!

With much love,

Alice

Take a Risk…

pic 66

This quote describes how I lived a large part of my life; afraid of making a mistake.  I’ve learned that everyone makes mistakes, it’s a part of living and growing.  So, today, get out there and do something you’ve always wanted to do.  Loose the fear of making a mistake and choose to take the risk.  Today is YOUR day…  Take a risk and live your life!

Feel free to share your experience with us…

With much love,

Alice

P.S.  This is my daughter’s cat, Philippe.  My daughter made the bow tie for him…. I think it’s so adorable.

Do You Believe It?

pic 64

Do you believe the world is yours? I certainly do. I have a very deep seeded faith, and the trust I have proves this statement to be true for me.

It’s a wonderful and freeing feeling when you realize that it’s never too late to experience anything in your life. Make the decision and do it now. If your life doesn’t feel as though doors are opening for you that would not be open for anyone else, I strongly urge you to make a shift in how you feel, think, and the words you speak.

I would like to encourage you to be very aware of how you feel, think, and speak for the next two weeks. If you find yourself with any negative vibes, immediately halt those feelings and focus on the positives that you crave in your life. Start, right now, thanking your source for those desires, because that is what you are in the process of manifesting.

After the two weeks has passed, you will notice that you are quickly putting a stop to the negative feelings as they arise, and you are instantaneously shifting those thoughts into a positive flow. You feel better and your energy level is higher than before because you are living in the space of believing that the world is yours, and that what you are seeking is on it’s way to you; and it is.

I look forward to hearing about your marvelous manifestations as they take place in your world. Always remember, “The World IS Yours.”

With much love,

Alice

Row, Row, Row YOUR Boat…

pic 63

I believe just about everyone has heard this nursery rhyme:  “Row, row, row, your boat, gently down the stream.  Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.”

I watched a PBS special in which Wayne Dyer talked about being in a swimming pool with one of his daughters when she was quite young and singing this song.  He dissected the song, and because it had a great impact on me, I wanted to share it with you.

Row, row, row, YOUR boat… not my boat or anyone else’s boat!  What a simple analogy to place your focus and intention on your life, to live from your highest self and not try to control anyone else.

He continued on:  Gently down the stream… If you are rowing YOUR boat, you will row gently down the stream as you move in alignment with your source.  You have chosen the path of least resistance, instead of fighting upstream.

Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream… Your life will be a dream; a dream come true because you are living the blueprint of your life in harmony with your source for everything.  Your life is overflowing with great abundance.

Isn’t that a great metaphor on how to live your life?  Truly, it’s how I live mine.  When I began to implement this into my life, when I felt tempted to “get involved” in something that was not mine to “get involved in,” I would say, “That’s not my boat.”  It may sound funny, however it’s been a great way to live my life.

I have found that in rowing MY boat, maintaining inner peace and harmony is not difficult.  It’s really awesome when you have techniques that you can pull from when you need them.  It genuinely keeps one centered.

I encourage you to apply the technique in this analogy to your life, and then please share how it has enhanced your life on a daily basis.  I believe you will be filled with peace and happiness from within, as you live in harmony with your source.

With much love,

Alice
