This quote is a beautiful truth of who we are. When we are focused on how we can be of service to others, we always find ourselves lifted as well. It’s how we are wired, put together, and that’s why it feels right.

My husband and I do this with each other all of the time. In fact, the only time we seem to have a disagreement is when we put ourselves first, instead of putting the other first. I am truly grateful to be in a relationship where each party genuinely chooses to think of the other first. It’s not as though we have to “try” or “think” about it, it just is, and that’s a gift.

My challenge to you is to experience “joy rising” each day of your life. A simple kindness of holding the door open for someone lifts you as well as the one you are serving. What will you do today that lifts others and in turn lifts you?

Always Love…

At the heart of each one of us is LOVE. You and I have been created in the image of the Divine, which is pure love.

It seems that with each passing day I am so much more aware of the heart of people, their soul, their true self. I am grateful for this deepened awakening because it has shifted me once again in the way I look at everyone including myself. I feel as though I can share love with a heightened sense of genuinely seeing past anything that isn’t from one’s true self.

My spiritual journey has taken me to a deeper layering from within. I have emerged with my heart space expanded and I feel as though I am experiencing Guidance of the Divine’s (God) love with a new awareness of how powerful our love is.

I would like to encourage you to always look for the beauty and specialness in each person, aiming to see one’s soul, as this is the place where we are truly connected to one another.

A Life of New Beginnings…

I absolutely love this picture. This butterfly image was made with the imprint of a child’s foot. Butterflies definitely represent change, beauty, and enjoying the moments in life. Children represent new beginnings as well. Every day they grow, learn, smile and laugh. The analogy of butterflies and children indulging in life is a beautiful one.

I really like this quote by Leo Buscaglia: “I love to think that the day you’re born, you’re given the world as a birthday present.” Isn’t that great?
