A Life of New Beginnings…

photo-84

I absolutely love this picture. This butterfly image was made with the imprint of a child’s foot. Butterflies definitely represent change, beauty, and enjoying the moments in life. Children represent new beginnings as well. Every day they grow, learn, smile and laugh. The analogy of butterflies and children indulging in life is a beautiful one.

“While delighting in the beauty of the butterfly, do we remember the journey it went through to get there? As with our own lives, the journey brings to light our true beauty.” Alice Hocker

I really like this quote by Leo Buscaglia: “I love to think that the day you’re born, you’re given the world as a birthday present.” Isn’t that great?

I want to encourage you to view life like children and butterflies. Enjoy it… each and every moment of your journey called life. Remember that life is filled with new beginnings, so never ever give up!

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
