Choose To See The Good

securedownload  It’s very true that when you make the decision, the choice to see the good in others, you also find the good in yourself as well.  This is because we are all connected and we genuinely are a mirror reflection of one another.

The choice in how you decide to see others is always yours to make.  When you choose to see the negative in others, you find your energy shifting to a low vibrational state as well as your thoughts and feelings to be negative.  This overall feeling alters everything about you, including how you physically feel.

I find this to be true in my own life.  What’s happened is, I moved away from thinking from my spiritual, higher self, to thinking from my ego self.  I know it right away because of how it makes me feel.

For myself, when this occurs, the way I shift back into a state of gratefulness and one of gratitude is, I begin thanking my source for the many blessings in my life.  I speak them out loud, claiming them and continue to do so until I feel myself back aligned with God.  I always know when the adjustment has been made because I immediately feel much better and my vibrational state is restored.  That’s how I know that I am once again parallel with my source and I am truly back on the spiritual level.

It’s at this point that I can once again see the good in others because I have made the choice to do so, and I also see who I am.  It’s important to remember to focus on the positives in others as well as in our own lives, and not allow our thoughts to keep us away from anything that does not promote our highest self.

This happens to all of us from time to time.  I believe it’s part of the process to remind us of the beauty in everyone and in all things.  It also reminds us of the power that we have been given from within to make shifts that bring us back in alignment to our source.  This is where genuine happiness and peace is found.

With much love,

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."

  1. Great post! You make some very good points about choice and the way that we perceive others. I used to struggle with how others perceived me, but I realized I can’t control their thoughts and feelings. Only they can do that. As long as I haven’t consciously caused someone to feel negatively, I can’t worry about the choices they make. Thanks for sharing, Alice!

Hi Andriea, Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. I too, struggled for a very long time with how others perceived me. It has taken me years to realize that the only person I have control over, is me. It feels great when you are able to release those feelings. Sending lots of love to you… Alice 🙂
