We are wired, or put together just like our creator, therefore kindness is built right into who we are. It’s my belief this is why we feel so bad when our thoughts or actions are anything other than that of kindness, love. Those uncomfortable feelings we experience is our inner compass letting us know that we have shifted and are no longer aligned with our source.
It genuinely is easy to shift right back into alignment. For myself, when this happens I stop, take a deep breath in and as I slowly exhale, I remind myself that I am the governing presence governing in perfect divine order, commanding happiness, harmony and the presence of God’s opulence in my mind, my home and my world. It’s an effective way for me to quickly re-center and it beautifully emphasizes that kindness truly begins with me.
It simply feels good when we are spreading love and joy through kindness. Not only do we feel good but the recipient of our kindness feels good too. The smallest act of kindness brings great pleasure all the way around as it’s pleasing to the soul.
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” ~Mark Twain

I love this title, Wired For Kindness. I completely agree with this. We are made in His image, so our motivations should be aligned with His as well. And yes, it’s remarkable when we feel that alignment.
