Kids keep it Simple

Wow, what a great way to embrace life!  It’s so simple and yet very true.  If you don’t like the way you are feeling, pick another color!  I absolutely love this.  It’s a gentle reminder for you and me that we are always in control of how we feel and at any time we can make the choice to change the way we feel.

I began thinking of colors that bring joy into my world.  I personally like pastel colors as they are soft, soothing and calm.  That’s what I see and what I feel with pastels.  I do however like bright pink, blue, yellow and purple.  When I see these colors I think of happiness, sunshine, and this feeling comes over me as though I’m being embraced with a great big hug that resonates to the core of my being.

Maybe the next time you’re feeling blue you will paint yourself a different color as you are making the choice to shift away from feeling “blue.”

What color will that be for you?  Which colors welcome happiness into your world?

Wishing you a day filled with all the colors that bring you peace, joy and happiness.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."

Thank you for this colorful message, Alice! You have me thinking of what color I will be today… I think I will be ‘Yellow’… the color of Sunshine and Happiness! Wishing you a Yellow kind of day too!
