After I read Wayne Dyer’s book Wishes Fulfilled, I implemented this way of speaking into my own life. I can tell you that this statement is an absolute truth as my life is a living testimony of the power in the words, I AM.
The intimacy in my spiritual awakening was the birthing of my true, authentic self, my divine being. For me, with the spiritual awakening that I’ve embraced, the experience of spirituality is a feeling that comes over me of being loved unconditionally, and the love comes from a higher source. It’s my infinite soul speaking to me, connecting to my source, which is God.
With the realization in the nobility of who “I am,” I know that living a harmonious life with my source will only attract more grandeur into my life, as this is what happens when you live aligned with God.
Bishop T.D. Jakes describes God as, “The God of the universe, the CEO of creation, the master of origination of life.” Do you see the correlation between God and us? This is huge! Knowing that you have been created in God’s image, please see that you are a piece of that which you came from. You have the “I am” presence in you. “I am” is the name of God.
“We are all God- the God that is perfect love. God did NOT say: I will be, I hope to be…NO he said, “I am.” To say “I am” is not blasphemy, it is your identity.” -An excerpt from Wishes Fulfilled. This completely altered the way I saw myself! It was a miraculous wake up call for me.
It is so important to be aware of what follows these two words: “I am,” because they symbolize our source, God. Wayne Dyer also stated, “I am is: sighting the name of God. If you use I am in a derogatory manner you are desecrating the name of God, defacing the name of God.” I agree 100%.
I say that I am well, I am strong, etcetera, because I am. Today I think before I speak and ask myself if what I am about to say promotes my authentic self and if the answer is no, then I do not say it.
Adjoined with God, living in balance with your source, you do not want to say anything that does not promote your highest self. Remember, you are the “I am” presence as God dwells in you.
If you aren’t already doing so, I would encourage you to begin thinking about the words that follow I am. Please share with me how your life is molding and shaping as you breath life into the words you speak. Living in harmony with source will bring about marvelous transformations into your life.
With much love,
Alice
