This past Sunday Gary and I went to visit a very cool place called, “France Miniature.” We had so much fun that when we got back home, my sweet husband put it all together into a short video. I believe life is beautiful and living mindfully keeps you tuned into the beauty in all things. I really like these quotes because they are lovely reminders of how precious life is and how our thoughts and actions impact not only our lives but those we come in contact with.
I have a great desire to leave good and positive vibrations with everyone I come in contact with because I want to paint the universe with a lot of love. I truly believe this is what we all are… LOVE. It feels so right to share a smile, to give a hug, to say hello/ bonjour to everyone I come in contact with.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was a man with a vision. Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of his famous speech, “I have a dream.” I was able to watch some of the celebration on television and I was deeply moved by what I heard and felt in my heart.
I sensed the spirit within me completely united with the multitude of people around the globe. WE ARE ALL CONNECTED and for me I felt extremely connected to many souls. We absolutely can make a difference in this world right where each of us live today… right now.
You and I are a mirror reflection of one another. Let’s see one another as God sees us, as a soul, which is pure love.

If you’ve ever wondered just how powerful this component of the mind is, just think of when you hear a song that maybe you have not heard in over ten plus years, and you find yourself singing every word as if you listened to the song all of the time. The lyrics to that song came from your subconscious mind.
This experience happened to me recently and it reminded me of how much “stuff” is stored in the subconscious mind. I’m fifty two years old… I have A LOT of stuff in there! I also began to think about how many thoughts flow in and out of a person’s mind everyday, and they know right away if the thought is positive, by how that thought makes them feel.
When a thought surfaces from your subconscious mind and it’s one that you know is not true about who you are, then you get to make the choice to release that thought and replace it with a new thought that resonates with who you are. When you do this, you will sense a shift as you move back into the space that feels good to you.
It’s my belief that this is an ongoing experience throughout life because you never know when something embedded very deep within your subconscious mind will show up. It’s been my experience that when this happens, if its a negative, take a minute to acknowledge it, release it, and replace it. When you are proactive and embrace those feelings right away, they do not consume your day because you have moved forward as you are focused on the authenticity of your new belief, one that serves you well.
We have power over the subconscious mind, which was quite a relief when I embraced this truth in my own life. With this revelation, what I discovered was that I was moving quickly away from living in fear into living in faith, the light, the truth of who I am.
Let’s always remember the simple yet very true statement that Glenda the good witch told Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz; “You have always had the power.”

When Gary and I were in Alencon, France we walked around taking in the sites of the center of town which is appropriately called, center ville. This beautiful garden was located on the side of a very old church. I kept looking at how they displayed the flowers and thought it was not only really pretty but very unique.
