Believe in Yourself…

photo(213)  This picture really speaks to me. When you believe in yourself, there is this power from within that gives you the strength to stand tall and have faith in yourself. This is the place where you start to see yourself like this picture. It’s very touching to me.

I spent so many years, the first 40 of my life, trying to please everyone around me. I was very sad and empty when I was alone. It took me a very long time to realize that I could not find happiness/inner peace because everywhere I was searching was outside of myself.

Once I had the revelation that turning inward, tuning into what I wanted, was the start of a new journey of believing in myself. I found value in who I am, and everything changed. It was the lovely beginning of my spiritual awakening.

I am so thankful/grateful that today I am so far removed from the woman I once was. Through the years, I continue to grow and learn all that I can because I have a great desire to live in harmony, peace, and poise with my source for everything… God.

Believing in yourself is paramount in living your life with genuine passion and a burning desire in having that inner peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Wrap your arms around yourself and start believing in who you are; because who you are is enough.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
