Thoughts become things, and the more you focus on something, the more momentum you are developing with your thought. If you continue to make this thought the center of your attention for one minute, your thought has evolved into becoming your reality. What you focus on, you attract into your life.
The human brain produces approximately 70,000 thoughts on an average day. That’s a lot of thoughts! Through the teachings of Wayne Dyer, I learned to look at my thoughts as if they are on a conveyor belt just passing by. When a thought enters into my mind, if it’s a good one, then I may want to keep it and develop that thought. If a thought enters into my mind that I do not want to keep, I simply put it back on the conveyor belt and pick up another one.
This takes some practice, but it is easy to shift from a negative thought to a positive thought. Create momentum on the positive thoughts and you will attract into your life what you desire. Esther Hicks said, “To live deliberately, you have to think deliberately.”
My challenge to you is to implement this “conveyor belt” idea, and when a random thought enters into your mind, be aware of how you immediately feel with that thought. If it produces a positive vibration for you, then consider focusing on it as you build momentum with that thought. If a thought causes you to feel negative vibrations, immediately put that thought back and pick up another one that makes you feel good. This is how you attract what you desire into your life.
Here’s a second challenge for you: Only speak about what you want in your life. Cease talking about what you do not want. When you talk about what you do want, you feel good, and how you feel is what the universe responds to.
With much love,
Alice
