Your State of Mind…

Your feelings and your thoughts create different states of the mind. For example, you may choose to feel sorry for yourself and before you know it, you find yourself in a state you don’t like. Just decide that this is not where you want to be and move out of the state by imagining yourself as the person you would like to be, and see yourself as that person in your eyes. You will move out of your present state quickly.

A shift in your thoughts and feelings is a shift in your state of mind. These states are a part of life. What has helped me tremendously is to think of these shifts in my mental state as though I am a traveler passing through different states as I travel along.

It’s a great analogy for me because I love to travel and the varied places I visit do affect my state of mind. And like a traveler on my journey, I leave that area and proceed to the next destination. The place I visited remains, but I move on.

You and I have on the conscious level, all of the different states of thought, and it’s up to you and I to decide/to choose if you are going to visit and stay in a particular state for an amount of time, or if you are going to acknowledge that you are here, say it’s not where you want to be, and decide to pick up and move on.

The mind is powerful and how you choose to view different situations in your life greatly effects how quickly you harvest what you have planted into your imagination.

Life is all about change. You and I are equipped with all that is needed to carry us to the next state of mind. The state of mind that brings you back to living from your imagination, where what you desire originates from.

My challenge to you is: when you find yourself traveling through a state of mind that you don’t want to stay in, make a shift in your thoughts and decide to move out of the present state you are in by vividly seeing yourself where you do want to be. Hold that vision with your no matter what attitude, and you will move forward on your journey into a new state of mind, one that will manifest what you have firmly planted into your imagination.

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write.
