It is a Wonderful Life

photo(8)  Your life IS a wonderful life!  Give thanks for the abundance of blessings that are in your life, right now, today.  There is always something to be thankful for.  You and I have so much to be grateful for, and the best is yet to come!

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”  ~William Arthur Ward

Have you ever done that?  Wrapped a gift and then didn’t give it away?  I remember one time, I had wrapped a gift with the intention of giving it to someone, then my trip to visit my friend got cancelled.  We lived in different areas of Texas.

Christmas had come and gone, and it was months later before I found the gift in my closet, all wrapped and ready to go.  I took the present out of the closet, held it in my hands, and as I sat on my bed,  I felt sad that the gift I had picked out for my friend was still here… so many months later.

You know what I did?  I mailed it to her the same day… It felt really good to give my friend her present, even though Christmas had been over for some time.

When you express gratitude, it expands your heart space, making room for many more blessings in your life.  Not just this time of the year, but everyday, take time to offer up prayers of gratitude for the overflowing abundance in your life.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
