Spiritually Speaking…

When you live from your heart space, your spiritual realm, you view life from a different perspective than the realm of intellect.  Which place you live from is always your choice.

What I believe is that the eyes and ears, in fact all of your senses, limit your beliefs.  If you live from what you see, hear, smell, touch, and taste, you are living in the space of intellect.  This is the area from which I lived from for a very long time, and I was not filled with the inner peace that I longed for.  I believe it’s because I allowed outside forces to determine how I felt, and those feelings constantly changed.

By living your life from the spiritual space, outside circumstances don’t influence you because this is not where you reside.  You live in the spirit of faith.  This quote by Philip Yancey describes it well; “I have learned that faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in reverse.”  It’s living your life with the belief that your desires have already come to fruition.  You are connected to your child-like faith, you just believe, and therefore it is.  I know it sounds too simple, but it is the truth.

Relying on all things from an intellectual viewpoint is not living from your highest self, it’s ego based.  This simply means you want to retain control.  That’s where faith comes in.  As you evolve into living from your highest self, you will move away from thinking intellectually and you will find yourself shifting into thinking spiritually.

Sometimes I find it is difficult to put into words exactly how I feel and how to share this union with my source that I have.  I think you just have to experience it to really perceive it, and that’s my heartfelt desire for you.  May you live your life from the spiritual realm because this the space where genuine inner peace is found, and extraordinary living begins.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
