Consistently Look Within

139 of quote“I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence, but it comes from within.  It is there all the time.”  By Anna Freud

I am living proof that this quote is an absolute truth.  I spent the first half of my life searching outside of myself for strength, confidence, peace, and happiness, to find that it does come from within.  I had it all the time.  Now I am connected to it, and live from this place.

This is an excerpt from my newest book, For the Love of Quotes, Day 139.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."

Good morning to you, Joan! Thank you for taking a moment to share your thoughts. I appreciate your kind words on the photo as well. I have been learning how to take photos and enhance them with several different programs. It’s been a lot of fun. I am also very happy to know that you are reading from and enjoying, For the Love of Quotes everyday. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Alice 🙂
