Self-Worth

Self-Worth by Doe Zantamata

“Some people will like you for no reason, some people will not like you for no reason.  Who you choose to spend the most time, thoughts, and effort on, depend on exactly how much you like yourself.  By just staying near to people who treat you poorly, you are telling them it’s OK to do so.  Only keep people close to you who treat you well.”

This is something that I personally struggled with for the vast majority of my life.  Today it is more important to be respected than to be liked.  I value who I am and my wish for you is that you will always value who you are.

With much love,

Alice

About I am Alice

If anyone would have asked me three years ago if I had ever considered writing books, I would have promptly answered, "No." Today, it is a very natural feeling to write. I suppose since I enjoy talking so much, and I mean a lot, it should not have surprised me! I love communicating through writing as I feel completely united with my soul and my thoughts flow, often times as well as tears as I am altogether emerged in that feeling, in that moment. Check out the "About Alice" page to find out why I titled this site, "I am Alice" and why, "It Feels Good To Be ME."
