What is a Belief?

When you come to the understanding that a belief is only a thought you keep thinking, you then realize that you get to choose what thoughts you are going to focus on and which ones you will release.

As mentioned in my post last week, “Thoughts become things,” I challenged you to implement the conveyor belt idea, which is where you look at your thoughts as though they are on a conveyor belt just passing by. You get to choose which ones you want to keep and which ones you want to put back.

You also know right away which ones you should put back by how they make you feel. If you feel any negative vibrations from any thought, that is one to release immediately. Then pick up one that leaves you feeling good and raises your vibrational level. That’s the one you want to focus on.

You and I are vibrational beings and how you FEEL is everything! It’s of utmost importance that you deliberately choose thoughts that raise your vibrational energy level if you desire to live in alignment with source. Think of it this way: You are a vibrational being and law of attraction is the motor behind it. That’s why what you focus your thoughts and feelings on is what you attract into your life.

Do you want your motor to generate momentum so the universe can bring into existence what you are deliberately attracting into your life… What you want in your life? Of course you do. This is why it’s paramount to be aware of how you are feeling at all times, so you can make a shift back to high vibrational feelings when they shift to a lower vibrational level. Likewise, if you stay on the lower vibrational level, focusing on what you really do not want to attract into existence, well that’s exactly what you will get. That’s law of attraction.

I think it’s very cool that you and I have been created in such a way that you get to choose what you are going to focus on and by the choices you make, that’s what is attracted into your life. Start today to be very aware of how you are feeling and the thoughts you are holding onto. Release any thoughts that bring resistance into your life and keep only those thoughts that raise your vibrational level.

Let the thoughts that you know are true of who you are become a belief, and focus on those thoughts as you attract an abundance of blessings.
